I couldn’t stop myself from getting these navy blue velvet pants. They are truly soft and comfortable, something I really appreciate being in pregnant week 28. The challenge is to style these type of material to a complete outfit, wearable at the office.
This is for sure a modern piece to wear at the office, but the perfect twist for those of you who wants to keep up with trends at the same time as you dress professionally.
I decided to pair the trousers with a white shirt in cotton. The details of the shirt (both the raffles at the neck and the bows at the cuff) gives this outfit that little extra instead of wearing to for example jewellery. The double breasted coat is also in navy blue, but a different shade. The same goes for the heels in suede. I really like playing with different shades in different materials and as you know navy blue will always work in an office.

Something I would feel naked without is earrings. I love both discrete ones as well as statement earrings. For this outfit I went for a more toned down touch.
